When I studied Mental Health First Aid I was introduced to a book called 'Changing Minds' by Dr Mark Cross and Dr Catherin Hanrahan. This book details many mental health disorders in very respectful and informative way. Provided are specific contacts for a variety of Mental Health issues. It details what to expect in the Mental Health System and how to start the path to recovery.

  • Bi Polar. Diagnosing, mania, treatments, managing and contacts

  • it also details anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, anorexia, bulimian, psychosis and schitzophrenia, gender indentity and suicide
