Using Flower Essences for Spiritual and Energetic Protection

Flowers have long been utilized to show love and affection and to, brighten a dull space, to lighten a room, and to brighten someone's day.

So does it surprise you to know that a flower's essence has been historically used to create emotional healing in humans? Hildegard Von Bingen (12th century) and Paracelsus (15th century) wrote about collecting dew from plants and flowers to treat health imbalances. In the 1930s, a London physician Dr. Edward Bach developed a deeper understanding of flower essences and their application and developed the 38 Bach flower remedies still used today..

The inspiring work of Dr Bach has led many to study the healing qualities of flowers from all over the world. In the Clinic I use Australian Bush Flower Essences, Bach and Desert Alchemy Flowers for various reasons. In this post I am discussing how I use the multiple flowers for protection and Spiritual cleansing.

Choosing BACH or Desert Alchemy ( Arizona) Flowers for Spiritual cleansing

  • Walnut gives general protection and helps breaks links in aura with others and the past

  • Honeysuckle clears negativity from cars, homes and auras

  • Aspen for when the aura is open to anxiety and disturbing outside influences

  • Queen of the Night Cactus (Desert) can help us sink deeply into the intuitive root of our being to ground our subtle sensitivities. It helps us open to the qualities of the moon in our daily life, experiencing the blissful perspective of deeper understanding, feeling, and sensuality.

  • Coral Bean (Desert) stimulates focus and will in facing or recovering from dangerous situations.

The Flowers can be placed on Acupressure points, on Chakra's, and added to moisturizers to apply to the skin. They can also be used as an essence to ingest or to add to food. Flower essences contain alcohol, usually brandy, as a preservative. Ask for assistance from a qualified practitioner before self-selecting flower essences.

Is underthinking giving you profound anxiety

I thoroughly enjoyed ‘The Mountain is YOU’ by Briana West and highly recommend reading it. This excerpt is about understanding and healing what we understand as ‘overthinking causing anxiety’.
