Find Courage within

I am finding in clinic that people are finding it increasingly difficult to have courage to make changes, to have courage to dream of a bigger life, or to find a job that fulfills, a relationship which supports their needs. So I am often speaking of courage to follow one's dreams, to be fulfilled. To be courageous.

This is an excerpt from 'Waking the Lion' from Colette Baron-Reid. I often use her products in clinic for homework during meditation or reflection. The image of the lion above is also from her collection.

"Regardless of the conditions right now, you can't wait for your fear to lessen before you move forward. in fact, despite the chaos and seeming disarray, you MUST be bold. whatever your trepidation, act as if you have deep trust that all will be well.

Nothing is promised to you, but you will never truly see magic if you don't take the risk."

I truly love that Colette puts us in control of our lives, forcing us to recognise that the one constant is us. The one force that can push us into brilliance and courage is ourselves.

When trying to make change and step into courage, what is really important is knowing how to move forward

Asking these questions can help

What is the best way for me to handle this situation?

What action do I need to take to stay on track with my other projects?

What type of courage do I need today?

Will this be a big deal next week, next year?

Who in my life supports me?

Who in my life is blocking my change?

When I look at where I want to go. Have I considered the changes to my life? and am I ready for the consequences of those changes?

What in my life needs to move to allow SPACE for my NEW being?

There are many energetic tools that can support our move to courage. Crystals, meditations, chakras and Flower Essences can all assist in changing our vibration to support change.

Quotations for Courage

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

Nelson Mandela

God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, courage to change the things which should be changed and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.

Reinhold Niebuhr

Key Tools for Courage

I have learnt that we can be courageous when we feel that we are supported by our families, friends and loved ones.

We can be courageous when we truly believe in what we are doing. That we 'know' that we are on the 'right track'.

Love, light and wild blessings, Sally
