Teaching Meditation

I love this visualisation for bringing a new perspective and I use it with clients each week. I learnt it from David Corby, CEO of the College of Complementary Medicine. He is a brilliant teacher, mentor and remains a lovely friend of mine. This is an excerpt of David’s Course Facilitating Change and Embracing life which I studied and I highly recommend.



Take 3 deep breaths. Breathe into your Belly


Become aware of your thoughts. Let them come to you. Let them come and go without judgement


Imagine.

Climbing a tower constructed in the middle of a field. The stairs are narrow and circle around the tower


Keep climbing higher and higher, and higher.


When you reach the Top


Look at the clear view around you.


As you look around you realise the landscape is the landscape of your life.

From this height.

You can begin to see your life from a different perspective.

From here you can gain new insight
